The Private Encryption by DK app was created by Daniel K. as a tool for secure message encryption. This privacy policy describes what data is processed by the app.

2. Data Collection

The app does not collect, transmit or store any personal user data on external servers.

All encryption and decryption operations take place exclusively locally on the user's device.

3. Locally Stored Data

The app stores locally on the device only:

• First launch date (for trial period purposes)
• Premium purchase status (yes/no)

This data does not leave the device and is not shared with third parties.

4. App Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

• Camera — to scan QR codes with encrypted messages
• File storage — to save and read encrypted files
• Internet — exclusively to verify purchases via Google Play Billing

5. Google Play Billing

In-app purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. Google may collect transaction-related data in accordance with its own privacy policy available at policies.google.com.

6. Security

The app uses AES-256-GCM encryption with a key derived via PBKDF2WithHmacSHA256. Encrypted data without knowing the password is impossible to read.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 years of age and does not knowingly collect any data from children.

8. Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy. Changes will be published at the same location.
